Who qualifies for the Loan?
The beneficiaries are required to be above 18 years, GBV survivors picked from the 10 Counties, a woman, youth or person living with disabilities, engaging only in legal businesses and should show cause on the need for financial support.
What is the maximum amount I qualify for?
- Maximum Grant is 15,000 – non-repayable
- The maximum Loan is 500,000 – paid at an interest of 9.63% per annum.
What security is required for the loan?
- None it’s an unsecured loan.
What is the minimum requirement to repay the loan?
- To be determined from the amount borrowed.
- Payment plan to be determined by the bank.
- Maximum payment is a period of 18 months.
What is the difference between a loan and a grant?
- A loan: Repayment period: 18 months-Maximum. Grace period: 1 Month. Loan cycle: Multiple within a graduation schedule. Complimentary support: Business Development Services (entrepreneurship Trainings). Maximum Amount: Kshs. 500,000.
- A Grant – No Repayment. Selection done by individual organization for survivors. Maximum Amount: Kshs. 15,000.
